Michael Hayden, the new CIA director stated that the 4th amendment of the Constitution does not include the legal statue of probable cause. The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gives the President the authority to strip governors of their right to deny troops being sent to their respective states to engage in domestic law enforcement.

President Bush has signed a directive granting extraordinary powers to the office of the president in the event of a declared national emergency, apparently without congressional approval or oversight.
The "National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive" was signed May 9, notes Jerome R. Corsi in a WND column.
It was issued with the dual designation of NSPD-51, as a National Security Presidential Directive, and HSPD-20, as a Homeland Security Presidential Directive.
The directive establishes under the office of the president a new national continuity coordinator whose job is to make plans for "National Essential Functions" of all federal, state, local, territorial and tribal governments, as well as private sector organizations to continue functioning under the president's directives in the event of a national emergency.
"Catastrophic emergency" is loosely defined as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions."
Corsi says the president can assume the power to direct any and all government and business activities until the emergency is declared over.
The directive says the assistant to the president for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, currently Frances Fragos Townsend, would be designated as the national continuity coordinator.
Corsi says the directive makes no attempt to reconcile the powers created for the national continuity coordinator with the National Emergency Act, which requires that such proclamation "shall immediately be transmitted to the Congress and published in the Federal Register."
A Congressional Research Service study notes the National Emergency Act sets up Congress as a balance empowered to "modify, rescind, or render dormant" such emergency authority if Congress believes the president has acted inappropriately.
But the new directive appears to supersede the National Emergency Act by creating the new position of national continuity coordinator without any specific act of Congress authorizing the position, Corsi says.
The directive also makes no reference to Congress and its language appears to negate any requirement that the president submit to Congress a determination that a national emergency exists.
It suggests instead that the powers of the directive can be implemented without any congressional approval or oversight.
Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke affirmed to Corsi the Homeland Security Department would implement the requirements of the order under Townsend's direction.
The White House declined to comment on the directive.

The U.S. Constitution, and in turn America itself, as John Marshall stated, survives only by our will as a nation. Our forefathers forged this nation out of their own blood. They dedicated their sacred honor in its defense. They asked the creator of the universe to aid them. As these men were sworn to the noble cause of freedom, others today are just as dedicated to the opposite - its destruction. Bilderberg member, Trilateral Commission founder and sworn enemy of America David Rockefeller certainly has the will to work day in and day out -- and with great pleasure -- to, in his words, "...work against the best interests of the United States..."
When it comes to the will of America; have we lost the true meaning of how valuable freedom is? Have we lost the knowledge that our forefathers possessed that threats to our liberty will never cease; that men's hearts are weak and easily corrupted by power; that once unrestrained power -- which the constitution seeks to bar -- manifests itself fully, the most horrific bondage imaginable always clamps down on a once free people?
Has the will of America been broken? Perhaps as a nation we've lost sight of our true enemies. Perhaps too many love material wealth greater than their freedom. America is in the crosshairs of the global elite. We're offered convenient distractions to move our attention away from the cold reality of our situation. The rigged game of red vs. blue keeps many still mesmerized.
Perhaps as a nation we need to regain our perspective and rearrange our priorities. What comes first? Your new car? Your family? Your money? Your freedom? Without freedom and liberty, prosperity and the milk and honey that comes with it dries up like precious water in a ravenous drought.

Not all hope is lost.
Those who have taken on the task of trying to face such seemingly insurmountable odds know that at times one can get a bit overwhelmed. Take Texas ranger Capt. McDonald's ever-truthful words to heart: "No man in the wrong can stand up against a fellow that's in the right and keeps on a-comin'."
The people are starting to wake up to the realities of our situation. Not everyone has seen the light yet, but, my fellow patriots, our numbers are strong and growing. There remains a dedicated remnant of Americans who have the spirit of freedom still in their hearts. Our destiny is in our hands, and we've decided to stand on our feet rather than beg on our knees. We can't fight city hall, so we're told. The truth is we can fight, and we can win!
One man giving hope to the gathering resistance is Congressman Ron Paul, who is running for President in 2008. His campaign has depended on the grassroots support base that he has garnered over his years as a consistent and dedicated Congressman. Without his supporters, the establishment media would have silenced him long ago, effectively removing him from the collective conscience of America. We have defeated efforts on part of the establishment to do so, and Paul's message of freedom and personal liberty is spreading.

It's up to you, this grand experiment called America is a creature of your own will as a citizen. Sure, You can take the easy road and undo the work of our forefathers with little effort; submit, bow down and lick the boots of your master. It's that simple. Or, you may choose to resist those who would enslave America. In the end the consequences of compliance to tyranny are often far more gruesome than that of resistance.
